Amy O’Grady brings a unique blend of organizational development, communications, and training expertise to Helping Nonprofits Thrive. With more than 20 years of professional experience, she has served in roles ranging from Senior Organizational Development Specialist at Northrop Grumman to workshop facilitator, nonprofit founder, and communications professional. Amy also holds an MBA from UC Irvine and a BA in Music from UC Santa Barbara.
Her career highlights include developing custom training programs for professionals, creating communications strategies for schools and communities, and mentoring youth and families through innovative learning models. Amy is passionate about helping organizations strengthen their teams, refine their messaging, and design programs that align with both mission and values.
In addition to her professional work, Amy is currently leading efforts to launch the Collaborator’s Prize, a merit-based award designed to support young people in music, athletics, STEM, and the culinary arts.
