Jessica Johnson is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience in advocacy, program development, and organizational management. She currently serves as the Associate Director of the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Washington (CACWA), where she oversees administration, finance, and operations while playing a key role in public policy advocacy, grant administration, and strategic planning.
Jessica previously served as Executive Director of SAGE, a multi-service agency addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, victim services, and child advocacy. Her career also includes 15 years of leadership at the Quad Agency, where she advanced from advocate to executive leadership. Recognized nationally for her work, Jessica received the Ed Stout Memorial Award for Outstanding Victim’s Advocacy from the Congressional Victim’s Rights Caucus in 2018.
An experienced trainer and facilitator, Jessica has led programs on suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, leadership development, and nonprofit management. She is a QPR-certified suicide prevention trainer and has completed over 1,000 hours of specialized training in areas such as forensic interviewing, crisis intervention, and child welfare best practices. She also brings extensive experience in policy advocacy, grant writing, accreditation processes, and curriculum development.
