Louisa Mora
Louisa is an accomplished business and community leader with 30+ years of experience in the nonprofit and private sectors. Prior to finding her voice in the consulting world, she served in local, state, and national leadership roles directing program development, management, and oversight of the National Farmworker Job Program.
Ms. Mora directed daily operations of regional offices throughout the state while representing Washington State Farmworkers at the National level to improve the economic and educational status of agricultural workers and their families.
Her experience grew out of her passion for direct service to farmworkers where she provided assessments, counseling, education, employment preparation, and job development, in her early years which ultimately cemented her passion to help farmworkers find their voice and understand their rights. Once Louisa rose through the ranks of the organization, she became a master at establishing relationships with businesses, community partners, and employers to help programs meet their goals and objectives.
Her wide-ranging connections in governmental funding/regulatory skills and experiences have proven valuable in assisting organizations to win state and federal government grants ranging from $10,000 to $18,000,000 to fund programs and operations.
Louisa put her business and leadership skills to work by serving on multiple nonprofit boards and business advisory councils where she served in leadership roles to benefit a wide variety of organizations. Louisa served proudly for organizations such as Head Start, Hispanic Chamber, Cultural Diversity Council, Housing Association, PUD Hispanic Partnership, Rotary, and other critical service organizations.
Ms. Mora founded, owned, and operated a family business, a “minority-owned business” where she leveraged her skills and business acumen to grow the business to 2.5 million dollars over a fourteen-year period.
Nowadays when Louisa is not engaging with consulting clients, or in the board room, you will find her spending precious time with her grandchildren and beloved pups.
