Louisa Mora is an accomplished business and community leader with more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit and private sector leadership. She dedicated much of her career to the National Farmworker Job Program (NFJP), funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, where she directed regional operations across Washington State and represented farmworkers at the national level. Her work has focused on improving the economic and educational status of agricultural workers and their families through assessments, counseling, job development, and education.
Louisa is widely recognized for her ability to build strong relationships with businesses, community partners, and employers to meet program goals. She has helped organizations secure government grants ranging from $10,000 to $18 million, providing critical resources to sustain and grow nonprofit programs. In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Louisa co-founded and operated a successful family business, growing it to $2.5 million over 14 years.
Her extensive community service includes leadership roles with Head Start, the Hispanic Chamber, Cultural Diversity Council, Housing Association, PUD Hispanic Partnership, Rotary, and other organizations.
